I started my writing journey with poetry. I think at this point of time, poetry is the most appealing form of writing to me. It gives me the freedom to express my thoughts in few as well as many words and also, a sense of liberty for the readers to experiment with their own interpretations.
I also have written some short stories and maybe one day will write a novel too!
What are the key elements that lead you into writing- ‘Verses Of Time’?
During the process of writing this poetry collection, it had a momentum of its own. I used to write on a daily basis and keep adding new poems. I was inspired by life, my imagination time travelling into worlds other than ours and felt the need to write down my thoughts!

I have always been awed by the power of language since childhood. Reading, writing and even directing plays while in school showed me the power of the written word and it has stayed with me since.
What effects does writing have on people?
As a reader, it changes lives and gives hope. At times, it provides answers one is looking for. It is a window into other dimensions of time in people’s lives and a mirror to our own too.
As a writer it is a medium of expression, hope, healing and a lot of happiness with a dash of time travelling too!

There was no challenge as such. It was a joy and a pleasure to write this collection.
